Solidarity with
Ecuador! Jubilee Scotland supports the
Ecuadorian government in its pursuit of debt justice. The Ecuadorian government
has initiated a series of actions with the aim of stopping
payment on debts shown to be illegitimate, sanctioning those
who are responsible for their accumulation, and achieving
reparations for what has been stolen.
These actions come after a year long audit by the government
of their debts, an investigation that has involved citizen
movements and international civil society.
